Why singles?

With over 82 million singles, the United States is seeing a higher percentage of unmarried adults than any other time in history. Omaha shares this uniquely diverse growing population with about 256,000 unmarried adults residing in within the city.

Logic would have it that an abundance of downtown church organizations and ministries would be flush with singles hungry to give and serve, but reality says no.

Where are all of Omaha's singles 18 to 35 going to church? Who is reaching out to them? How are they spending their time and resources for the Lord?

Blessed with focusable time and resources, young adult singles are fresh thinkers at the height of their lives in terms of freedom, talent, and broadness of scope. Directing those gifts for Christ's kingdom while providing a place to seek God's will through fellowship and community is the call of Great Adventure Ministries.
